License and Authorization

License scope, authorization rules, and usage restrictions for AvatarDock
Apr 21, 2026

Overview

This License and Authorization Policy explains what rights you receive when purchasing or using AvatarDock / AD Digital Human products and services, and what actions are restricted.

This policy is a supplemental agreement to our Terms of Service and applies to all related software, templates, plugins, and service components unless otherwise stated in a separate written contract.

Definitions

  • Licensor: The service provider and rights holder of AvatarDock.
  • Licensee: The individual or entity that purchases or legally obtains authorization.
  • Authorized Use: Usage within the purchased plan, seat/device limits, and permitted business scope.
  • Deliverables: Outputs you generate using the service (for example videos, subtitles, and related assets), subject to applicable laws and third-party rights.

License Grant

Unless otherwise specified in a written agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the service during your active authorization period.

The license is granted only for lawful business and operational use.

Scope of Authorization

Your authorization scope may depend on your purchased plan and may include one or more of the following dimensions:

  • Account type (individual, team, enterprise).
  • Seat or member limits.
  • Device binding or concurrent device limits.
  • Usage quotas (for example credits, task volume, API calls, storage).
  • Environment limits (production/non-production).
  • Region, industry, or scenario constraints where required by law or policy.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

  • The platform, source code, templates, documentation, trademarks, and related intellectual property remain owned by the Licensor or its upstream rights holders.
  • You retain ownership of content you lawfully create or upload.
  • You must ensure your uploaded content and generated outputs do not infringe third-party rights.

Prohibited Actions

Without prior written permission, you must not:

  • Resell, redistribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or provide shared service access of the platform or license.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by applicable law.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure copyright, trademark, or license notices.
  • Circumvent license checks, payment controls, quota limits, or security mechanisms.
  • Use the service for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing activities.
  • Use the service to build a competing service based on unauthorized copying of core assets or logic.

Third-Party Components and Open Source

Parts of the service may include third-party software or open-source components. Those components may be governed by their own licenses. In case of conflict, the third-party/open-source license terms for that component control your rights for that component.

Authorization Term, Renewal, and Changes

  • Authorization is valid only during the purchased or approved term.
  • Renewal and upgrade/downgrade rules follow the plan details shown at purchase or contract terms.
  • If your plan expires or is terminated, your authorization to use paid features ends immediately unless otherwise required by law.

Suspension, Revocation, and Termination

We may suspend or revoke authorization when:

  • Required fees are unpaid.
  • Material policy or contract violations occur.
  • Use introduces material security, legal, or abuse risks.
  • Required by law, regulation, or competent authority.

After revocation or termination, you must stop all unauthorized use immediately.

Compliance and Audit Support

To protect platform security and licensing integrity, we may maintain necessary authorization and operation records. Where legally and contractually permitted, we may request reasonable information to verify compliant use.

Liability and Reservation of Rights

  • Except for rights expressly granted, all rights are reserved.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available".
  • Liability limitations and dispute clauses are governed by the Terms of Service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version published on this page will apply from its effective date, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
